That is as bad as it gets for a Pro Umpire. If a normal man screwed up that badly at his job he would get fired.
I feel sorry for the kid who was robbed of baseball immortality, who gives a crap about that old geezer.
In 10 years Jim Joyce will probably be dead and no one will care —- but Galarraga will never get back that perfect game.

Galarraga didn’t yell at him because he has CLASS. Did you see Joyce yelling back at Miguel Cabrera, “Just Doing My Job” with a smug nature.
I don’t buy his BS apology, and quite frankly words don’t mean anything. His old fat ass will forget this in a few weeks.

That game was great, Gallaragga had a perfect game taken away from him, Rod Allen was so funny about it though.

Worst call ever. Donald was out by a foot.
Joyce just made the fk-up of a lifetime. He’s done. What a horrible call. With a perfect game on the line, it better be overwhelmingly obvious that the runner was safe, otherwise call an out. This one wasn’t even that close. Did Joyce even realize what was on the line? What an idiot.

I honestly hope someone shoots his fat a**! That was a totally f***ed up call and his apology was BS. Poor kid
he deserved a perfect game and in my heart he has one. I hope he is always remembered

i think you are over reacting just a bit.. how many umps mess up all the time in all sports.. no one wishes death or impotency on them.. in a week no one will care anymore.
